This facility serves as the administrative offices for the Northeast Nebraska Public Power district in Wayne, Nebraska. The building was designed in "Prairie Style" architecture and was designed to be highly energy efficient. Passive solar techniques were used for daylighting, a standing seam metal roof was used for durability, and the buildings HVAC system is all electric. This building is an addition to the existing service center, which serves Northeast Nebraska and now combines all services at one site.
